Terms of Service

1. The service

BlurbStack ("BlurbStack", "we", "us") provides a tool that turns news-article URLs and prompts into branded Instagram graphics using AI-generated text and images composited onto templates. We may update, improve, or change features over time.

2. Your account

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't use BlurbStack to create unlawful, defamatory, hateful, deceptive, or infringing content.
• Don't upload logos, photos, or other material you don't have the rights to use.
• Don't misrepresent fabricated content as factual news, or impersonate a real outlet or person.
• Don't abuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service or its providers.

You are responsible for reviewing and fact-checking every post before you publish it.

4. Content & ownership

You own the posts you create and the assets you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the service. AI-generated text and images are produced by third-party models and may be inaccurate or resemble other works; you are responsible for confirming a post is appropriate and cleared for your use before publishing.

5. Plans, tokens & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of tokens used for AI actions (a full AI post uses 2 tokens; regenerating the headline, caption, or image uses 1 token each); manual posts are free. Unused tokens do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from the billing area, and your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.

6. Third-party services

BlurbStack relies on providers including Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI, and Google. Your use of BlurbStack is also subject to their terms where applicable, and we aren't responsible for their availability or actions.

7. Disclaimers

BlurbStack is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI output can be wrong, and we don't guarantee that generated content is accurate, original, or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

8. Termination

You can stop using BlurbStack anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; you may request export or deletion of your data.

9. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
