Who we are

BlurbStack ("BlurbStack", "we", "us") provides a tool that turns news articles into branded Instagram graphics. This policy covers blurbstack.com and the BlurbStack application.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and basic profile details from your sign-in method (e.g. Google).
• Content you create: posts, headlines, captions, brand kits, and any logos or images you upload.
• Inputs you submit: article URLs and prompts you provide for generation.
• Billing information: plan, subscription status, and a Stripe customer reference. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us.
• Usage data: standard analytics (pages viewed, actions taken, device/browser) via Google Analytics, plus basic server logs.

How we use it

• To provide the service — generate posts, save your projects, and render your exports.
• To operate your account and process subscriptions.
• To improve the product and understand how features are used.
• To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and important changes.

Third-party services

To run BlurbStack we share the minimum necessary data with trusted providers:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• OpenAI — generating headlines and captions (GPT-4o).
• Google (Gemini) — generating background images.
• Google Analytics — usage analytics.
• DigitalOcean & Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private content to train our own models.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual posts or entire projects at any time from the app. To delete your account and associated data, email support@blurbstack.com and we'll take care of it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at support@blurbstack.com.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
